 Well, the mpreg is progressing, but I'm not ready to post the next chapter yet. 

So I decided to write something short. You can try to guess who the speakers are. ;) It's not that good, but something quick I did. I'm never good at writing these two.

Title: Something Different
Rating: PG

"Something's different about the Commodore and Lieutenant Gillette."

"They're pregnant, idiot. They're growing babies."

"They can't be pregnant. They're just growing fat."

"They're pregnant. I know it."

"A man can't get pregnant."

"How do you know? You might not have ever seen one before."

"And you've seen a pregnant Commodore and a pregnant Lieutenant?"

"No."

"Exactly"

"You said the same thing about a ship with a captain so evil hell itself spat him back out, and what did we find? A ship with black sails with a captain so evil hell itself spat him back out. So why can't there be a pregnant Commodore and a pregnant Lieutenant?" 

"Who's the mother then?"

"There isn't a mother!"

"Well there are obvious fathers, why isn't there a mother?" 

"Because, Jack Sparrow's the father." 

"Ah, that makes sense then."

  Brilliant! I think you did a great job at writing them. Way better than my one feeble attempt. It makes my head hurt, trying to write the circular logic of a Murtogg/Mulroy conversation.

  I love Murtogg and Mullroy (despite never being sure if I'm properly spelling their names, or knowing which is which). And those last two lines are pure genius. I died from the giggles when I read that. Jack Sparrow can make all sorts of impossible things happen without question can't he?

  I second the R & G comment. So very much so- honestly, the writers must have at least drawn some inspiration from Tom Stoppard... So are they now Sparringette babies, or just Sparrington and Sparrette? (according to R & G/M & M I mean) :P
